Basingstoke Veterans Hub was Founded in 2023 and is a voluntary group, run by veterans. They are a peer-to-peer self-help group, committed to supporting each other through shared military experiences and the often-missed camaraderie that they had whilst serving.
They aim to provide all serving and ex-forces in their area with friendly practical advice, information and support. They also work with local NHS, DWP, council and local / national charities when necessary.
They rely heavily on the support they receive via grants and the generosity of public donations. This enables them to provide a protected environment to talk with others who just may be experiencing similar issues.
They meet every Monday for tea & coffee from 10:30 – 12:00 at Oakridge West Community Centre RG21 5SN and one Sunday every month at 10:00 for breakfast at Spruce Goose (Beefeater) - See their website and social media platforms for confirmation dates.
