“Your Veterans Community peer to peer social and support group”
The Arun Veterans LiVeS Project is the lead organisation of the breakfast clubs in the District of Arun, serving Littlehampton, Bognor Regis and Arundel. They have provided welfare support to veterans near and far since founding their first breakfast club in Littlehampton, but over the years, they have evolved considerably. They have several Armed Forces Champions who have completed training provided by the NHS Armed Forces Network. This enables them to support referred individuals. They always try to point people in the right direction for long-term solutions, once they have provided initial assistance. Their club motto is “Firmis Firmamentum” which means - Support Without Prejudice. Veterans do not have to be club member or attend club events to be eligible for support. Simply get in touch and they promise to try there hardest to help.
Littlehampton AFVBC is an Armed Forces Breakfast Club with a difference. Established in February 2018, they meet every Wednesday and Saturday between 1000 and 1200 at the Old Corn Store Bar and Bistro, on the High Street in Littlehampton. It’s always an informal, friendly environment with a free funded bottomless brew. They welcome the military family, this includes the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, families and those veterans who served in other countries military. To have the opportunity of returning to the military family, why not pop in for a chat, you will always be made welcome.
Arundel AFVBC is a subsidiary of Littlehampton AFVBC. They meet on the last Saturday of the month at the Red Lion, on the High Street in Arundel. Arundel members are also welcome to attend Littlehampton and Bognor Regis meeting days.
Bognor Regis AFVBC is also a subsidiary of Littlehampton AFVBC. They meet every Tuesday 0930 –1130 and Sunday 1000 - 1200 at the Waverley, on Marine Drive Westin Aldwick. Similarly to Littlehampton AFVBC, they also offer a free bottomless brew and welcome Littlehampton and Arundel breakfast club members too.
Following a successful grant application in 2023, they purchased a minibus to help provide further veteran welfare assistance, including transport to and from their weekly breakfast club gatherings.
If you’d like to help maintain and support this and many other invaluable Arun Veterans LiVeS Project resources, such as helping to cover Insurance, Tax, Fuel and general vehicle maintenance costs, and provide an all-year-round free bottomless brew, then please consider supporting either or all of the AFVBC which make up Arun LiVeS Veterans Project.
